Andover Children's Academy "Pursuing excellence in child care and education."

On behalf of our staff and director:     "Welcome to Andover Children's Academy."

After 10 years of being located in Andover, MA and servicing the Andover and North Andover community, we found it necessary to relocate to a larger facility to accomodate our growing student clientele. We now have a spacious location in Heritage Place on South Union St. in Lawrence, where we can continue to serve our clients and students in Andover, North Andover, Methuen, and Lawrence.

Heritage Place is conveniently located approximately 1 mile off exit 41 on Rt. 495. There is a fenced-in playground adjacent to the center.

Our hours, 7:30 AM to 6:00 PM, are designed to accommodate working parents. There is no additional charge beyond a regular 8 hour day.

Breakfast, lunch, and two snacks are provided. Parents do not have to worry about providing food for the day. The menu can be adjusted to accomodate the child's medical needs, e.g., lactose intolerance, allergies, etc.

ACA is a year round center. Certain elements of the day are scheduled, such as Meals, Circle time, nap time, and outside. This creates expectations and the comfort of some structured routines that are so important in child development. Children can go on field trips in the summer to parks, playgrounds, farms, and museums.

Due to the oppportunity of high tech jobs in the area, ACA has a multi-cultural environment. Currently, we have students enrolled in our school who have come from their homelands of Israel, Japan, Russia, France, Denmark, and China.

We are proud to say that ACA develops a strong community of parents, teachers, and children. Our ability to build a strong community is enhanced by the fact that many teachers have been on the staff of ACA for a number of years. All staff members are trained and qualified in accordance with regulations of the Massachusetts Office for Child Care Services.
